Maya Positioning Manufacturing Equipment (aka, Maya Company) is a small, family-owned business located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Maya Company was established in 1989 by Thaddeuz (Tad) Lesniara, an entrepreneurial-minded manufacturing engineer who emigrated from Poland in the early 1980s. Maya Company was built by Tad, whose goal was to craft manual measuring systems that were precise and easy to use. Tad succeeded in creating reliable, USA-made products for the woodworking, plastic and metal-working industries, effective in a wide range of manufacturing applications.
Starting with just two models and evolving into 15 different Posi-Stop Systems, Maya Company has served thousands of manufacturers around the world. The company was run by the married duo, Barbara and Tad, until Tad’s passing in 2016. Maya Company continues in Tad’s legacy, carried on by Barbara, son and family.
