Universal Guide Rails are the Foundation of our Posi-Stop System
Originally designed, developed and implemented for production by Maya Co. in 1989.
Overall, critical dimensions: 2 1/4″ x 3/4″ vertical flange and 2″ x 1/4″ horizontal flange have never been changed to assure that Posi-Stops sold today will work with Universal Guide Rails made 25 years ago!
Features
- Heavy custom aluminum extrusion, anodized.
- Over engineered compressive strength to prevent deformation.
- 3/8″ T-slot opening for internal locking or locating purposes.
- Pre-drilled 5/16″ diameter mounting holes.
- Overslide protective screws located in the ends of each rail.
- Special connectors for splicing option to any length.
- Excellent dimensional tolerances:
- Straightness = .12/ft of length
- Flatness = .002/in of width
Notes
- Rails longer than 8′ are shipped spliced: 8′ + 2′, 8′ + 4′, 8′ + 6′, 8′ + 8′ etc.
- No extra charge for splice work.
- Self adhesive tapes are included.
- Rails for swing stops have 5/16″ DIA holes with countersink.
- First hole is located 3/4″ from the rail end.
- Second hole is located 2″ from the rail end.
- Intermediate holes are on 12″ CTR.
- All holes are located 3/4″ from the edge of the horizontal flange.
